If there is a famous Polish cafe that defines history then one needs to visit. A.Blikle, in existence since 1869. Nowadays, more of a café cum brasserie, this institution which has been run by the Blikle family for five generations offers a synthesis between Polish and French cuisine.
While its “café aspect” needs no introduction with its wide spectrum of offerings – desserts, famous donuts, cheesecake with raspberry, fine coffees and teas, its brasserie is demonstrating the same sense in its food offering. The mushroom soup with dumplings: the wheat and buckwheat pancakes served with salmon, caviar, or herring; duck in various recipe formulations and the St. Jacob mussels are good selections. Breakfast served all day. A.Blikle always lives up to a quality experience.
