Located diagonally across from the Presidential Palace Giovanni Rubino has become an Italian institution in its own right. Celebrating its 20th birthday in 2011, this outstanding place is where modern Mediterranean fare rooted in traditional Italian has been created by Chef Piotr Rybicki who has been at the helm of culinary affairs since it opened in 1991.
This long unfaltering collaboration over the years between owner and chef has resulted in interesting variations such as Pizza Pizzaiolo with Parma ham and arugula, spaghetti with mussels, and the much-in-demand pork fillet with mushroom sauce.
