The Warsaw Rising Museum, modern, multimedia and interactive, is located in an old power plant. It opened in 2004 on the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the battle for Warsaw and is a fitting tribute to those residents of Warsaw who died for this capital city. The exhibition conveys the atmosphere of those horrific days within an area of over 3000 square meters filled with 1000 items, 1500 photographs, films, and sound recordings. The history of the days preceding the outbreak of the Rising is shown along with its subsequent stages. A must see!
