With the former vodka factory in Warsaw’s Praga now transformed into Plac Konesera, a trendy new hot-spot, Restaurant ZONI has indeed become the showcase of this metamorphosis. This expansive restaurant encompasses the actual distillery; reflective of the fact that ZONI is indeed the heart of this development. Expertly managed by Arkadiusz Zochowski, the kitchen is led by Chef Aleksander Baron, a master himself of culinary transformations. Taking the traditions of Polish cuisine and recasting them into new forms is his forte. Dishes such as the wild boar cheek simmered with roasted apple and beetroot, served with roasted fermented cabbage and cranberry with wild mushrooms, thyme, and rosemary is an example of his amalgamations. All dishes of course are paired with the right vodka, or wine of course, making this a memorable dining experience in an exciting, breathtaking environment!
